About Us
Two thousand years ago, someone scratched a joke, an insult, a love note, a complaint onto a wall in the Roman Empire. They weren't senators or emperors. They were bakers, soldiers, lovers, and everyday Romans who simply wanted to express themselves. Their feelings, their beliefs, their stories, engraved for all to see. Even now, two millennia later, we still see them.
We bring those voices back into the light.
Each print in our collection is an illustrated reproduction of real ancient Roman graffiti, researched and rendered to honour its history. These aren't grand monuments or polished marble busts. They're the scribbles, confessions, and inside jokes left behind by ordinary people, proof that humanity hasn't changed nearly as much as we like to think.
We believe history is most powerful when it's personal. So instead of focusing on the stories of emperors, generals, and senators we all know and love, we focus on the voices of the people who lived alongside them. The stories left out of the history books, scratched onto tavern walls, carved as names between lovers, traded as petty insults between neighbours. It's history with its guard down.
Our Aim
To preserve and celebrate the voices of everyday history, transforming ancient graffiti into prints that make the past feel personal, present, and worth a place on your wall.
